Marie Cecile Anderson is a Nashville-based comedian, actor, writer, and podcast host. She is best known as one-half of the musical comedy duo Reformed Whores and as the producer and host of City Cast Nashville, which was voted Best Podcast by the Nashville Scene in 2025.
Marie has performed comedy all over the country, headlining clubs and opening for artists including "Weird Al" Yankovic, Les Claypool, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. She's appeared everywhere from Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and Zanies to the Troubadour in Los Angeles and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. You can catch her on screen in national commercials and, most recently, ABC's 9-1-1: Nashville.
With Reformed Whores, Marie has released three musical comedy albums available on all major streaming platforms and has created dozens of comedy videos for YouTube. Whether she's onstage, behind the mic, in front of, or behind the camera, Marie is dedicated to making people laugh and telling stories that bring people together.
