Marie Cecile Anderson is best known for being one half of the country/comedy duo Reformed Whores. Her dream of recording their sophomore album in Nashville (her hometown) became a reality last year and in March 2016, Don't Beat Around the Bush debuted in the top 20 on the iTunes comedy chart!

Marie has toured across the country (sometimes in a fancy tour bus) opening for big names like Alice Cooper, Les Claypool, Dweezil Zappa, Godsmack, and Reverend Horton Heat! She's been featured on comedy shows with Wyatt Cenac, Todd Barry, David Cross, Scott Adsit, Mara Wilson, Janeane Garofalo, and Ralphie May; and has been on IFC, CBS, PBS, SiriusXM, Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV, Huffington Post, Splitsider, The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated, and BUST Magazine.

When Marie ain't whorin' it up, she enjoys chilling the f#$k out in Brooklyn. She studied theatre in NC & CA, and improv at UCB in NYC. Marie has acted Off-Broadway, was featured in HBO's Flight of the Conchords, national commercials, Above Average videos produced by Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video, and was once a model on Dr. Oz.

In 2009, Marie starred in the award-winning independent feature film Sneakers & Soul. The film was an official selection at over a dozen film festivals across the country. Marie can also be seen in the comedy web series PLANT where she is a series regular & does music for the show as well. Season 2 "The Second Coming" is now available to stream on Amazon Video.
